| | AM-Had a light tempo workout today. It was 5 miles out on lakeloop. We kept the first few miles around 5:15, then brought it down to 5:10, 5:06 and 5:03 or something like that. Most of the guys are starting workouts later this year, so I ran it with Kramer. My body was pretty sore from weight workout, so this was actually harder than I would've thought. Foot hurt a bit the first few miles, but then the pain dulled. The trainer said it will hurt and take time to recover, but that there weren't be any long injury to come from it.
PM-5 easy miles.

| | Long run today. We were pretty consistent on most of the miles, running right between 5:58-6:02 for most of the run. Dallin and Michael sped it up at miles 10 or 11. We ran a few around 5:30. I knew I had to run near 18 miles to get to 90 miles for the week, but I was alone for the last mile or so, and went off time for that part. When I got back to the car I knew I was a bit short of 18, and I felt alright about stopping there.

| | Long run up Provo canyon from the base. Lots of elevation gain, especially from miles 6 to 9. Averaged 5:55 mile pace. Felt great early on, but as soon as we started going downhill, I started feeling tired. We saw Matt Owens at the end and it was nice to see him again, he sounds like he is getting healthy again.

| | AM-fairly easy workout today. We were told to run 5:10s for the first 3 miles and then could run 5:00 for the next two if we were feeling good. I felt pretty relaxed. We had a huge group at mile 3, so that was fun. Last two miles we split, but it was still relaxed.

| | 10 easy miles running Smithfield canyon. I thought about how I used to run sub-6 minute pace up and down the canyon when I was in high school multiple times a week and realized that was a bit more impressive than I’d previously believed.
PM-5 milesish. Ran to mack park with some of the Sky View runners and talked to them and then ran with a few of them and then ran back.
